Room 14 children have been debating the merits of school uniforms. Opinion has been divided with an even split. Ask your child where they stand on the debate and why. The children are using their writing time to try and persuade the rest of the class on their beliefs.

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday before school, Room 14 has a Maths Club. The children get the chance to get some one to one tutoring either with Mr Leadbetter or one of the more mathematically proficient children. They are also allowed to go the Chrome books and play maths games. Some mornings most of the class are involved.

To nice a day to be inside. A fantastic spring day to be out playing T-ball.

Room 14 children are building a solar powered dog. Thanks Keegan for bringing this project to school.
The Harold team came to school with their trailer to talk to the class about fitness and health.

Every second Thursday we are lucky to have Youth Town come to school and teach the class various sporting skills.

Engineering Skills

Over the last week the class have been learning some basic building and engineering skills. They have had two challenges. The first was to design the tallest tower using only newspaper and four bits of cello-tapes. The second challenge was to  design the longest and strongest bridge. The children had a great time and learnt some interesting principles.
